Open days for prospective parents and carers

Welcome to St. Nicholas' Chantry Church of England Primary School. We know you will be thinking about schools for your child for September and you'll be looking around to see which school is the right one for you. Every school is so different and each has its own unique educational offer. We would love to meet you and show you our school if you'd like to look around. We will be there to tell you about school life here and give you the chance to tour the school and spend some time in our Early Years setting.

You are very welcome to bring your pre-school child with you so they can see what they think of our Early Years provision here too. This might also help you to imagine what your child will enjoy doing and playing with when they start school. It is an opportunity to see what we have to offer and ask as many questions as you'd like to the staff team and me too!

As with all our open events, babies and toddlers are also welcome and we will find you a comfy spot if you are breastfeeding too. We will start with a very brief information session in our main school hall, then we will have a tour, finishing in the Early Years department. We have four open sessions, so please sign up for the date and time that works best for you.

Open sessions and tours of the school

We hope you will join us for one of our open sessions when you can have a cuppa, meet key staff and have a tour of the school. Your pre-school child, should they join you, will be able to play alongside the Reception children at these sessions. This is a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have, see the school and watch your child at play. As with all our events they are baby, toddler and breastfeeding-friendly. Please ask for a quiet place and a comfy chair for breastfeeding if you need.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

Our EYFS Learning through play
